Preparing and decorating kitchen, breakfast room and living room

Steve is an extremely good decorator, taking time to prepare all surfaces properly, which wasn't easy as we have an older property in need of attention. His finishes are top quality – the rooms look amazing. He has an excellent knowledge of paint types, finishes, colours, application and more. We couldn't be happier. In fact, I have already booked him to come back and do the hall, landing and stairs. He is a pleasure to have around, too - friendly, polite and tidy.

Internal decorating

After much searching I chose Steve to do my internal decorating fitting of new doors and radiators. What a find, Steve is polite and respectful of your property and at the end of the day everything is left clean and tidy. His workmanship is excellent and I am more than happy with what he has done. The carpenters and plumber were also polite and respectful, they too cleaned up after themselves how nice not to have to start tidying up once everyone has gone home. Would I recommend Steve? 100% and let’s not forget Sue who deals with all the paperwork so efficiently.

Two storey side extension

Steve, working in partnership with a very talented builder, brought together all the necessary trades to knock down my existing garage and construct a two storey side extension. The whole project was done in the agreed time, to a very high finish and most importantly, within the agreed price. Steve specifically was the person decorating and finishing the work in all the rooms. This was down to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always keen to make sure that I, as the customer, was satisfied with all the work undertaken. I recommend him highly.

Lounge and dinning room

Plastered roof, installed down lighters and wood flooring. Fitted new double doors between lounge and dining room, installed new radiators, painted walls and wallpapering. All to a meticulous standard and always left in a tidy state at the end of each day.

Painting several rooms and carry out structural improvements.

We had several workers around for several weeks and they were all very pleasant to work with and very attentive to our needs. Communications and paperwork was excellent

Refurb the house (new flooring, walls and ceilings fixed, electrical work)

Good standard of work, very patient and accommodating of my wife and newborn son, good level of communication throughout. Potentially more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. Would use again.

Fitting a new kitchen and decorating.

Steve and his team did a great job of all the works necessary for a new kitchen. This includes electrics, carpentry and decorating. They were courteous, considerate and worked efficiently. Good value for money and I will be using them again in the future.

Painting en-suite bathroom and guest bathroom

From the quote process to the finished job. It was professional courteous on time. The job itself was superb. The attention to detail and preparation before painting was first class. I highly recommend this company for any of the different jobs they are accomplished in.

Replace flooring Install Kitchen Paint all walls, replace skirting Paint beams and banisters

Removed all old floor, replace with underfloor heating and quickstep laminate. Removed Kitchen and installed Howdens kitchen finished with quartz worktop. Beams, Banisters, walls, ceiling all painted. Skirting installed and painted. The whole team were professional, tidy and made me feel less anxious about such work taking place. I would recommend, and also ask Steve and the team to come back for any further decorating needs

Front garden landscaping

Steve and his team transformed my front garden. I had new fencing, sleepers and plants. I am thrilled with my front garden! It completely enhanced the look of my house. The team were extremely professional and punctual. I would highly recommend.

Excellent service , nothing was too much. Very efficient .

Replacement of kitchen cupboard lights with LED lights.

The new lights were installed neatly and the job completed satisfactorily.

Exterior of house, and hall, stairs and landing

Always professional and a perfectionist, Steve has worked on the exterior and on all of the rooms in the house, some more than once. Highly recommend.

Painting/decorating plus electrical work.

S T Grayson redecorated our master bedroom along with some electrical alterations and we are delighted with the finished result. Removing of structural wall to open kitchen and dining room. Fitting and installation of new kitchen

Steve and his team at S T Grayson came highly recommended and we can’t emphasis enough how delighted we are with all the works undertaken. Steve organised everything from our planning application, arranging building works, plumbing, electrical works and the planning and installation of our beautiful kitchen and quartz worktops. We had the whole room plastered including the ceiling with new spotlights, the quality of the plastering is exceptional. We also had Quickstep flooring installed which is stunning. Everyone who worked at our home was extremely professional, highly skilled and courteous.

Bespoke panelling

Steve and his team carried out some bespoke panelling in my entrance hall, which completely transformed the space. They also handmade doors for under my stairs to create a generous and stylish storage space. The attention to detail and finish was absolutely fantastic. The team are highly skilled and I have booked them in for more work due to the quality of the job. Excellent carpentry, painting decorating - would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy tradesmen

Exterior painting, maintenance and refurbishment of large detached property

Steve and his team are the most professional and courteous team I have ever had work at my home. They take huge pride in their work - no slapping on paint here, they prepare and finish everything to the highest standard and keep you informed of any issues they come across and discuss the best way to proceed. Build and install cupboards and floating shelves

Steve and his team were great. Attended early on Saturday to complete works within a day. Everything was completed to a high standard and Steve was able to advise us on the best paint to use following installation. Very happy with their service and would not hesitate to use again

The work was completed to a high standard and on-budget. Timescales were tight and Steve managed the various teams (plasterer/painter/carpenter/plumbers) in order to meet our deadline. Repainting of whole interior

Steve and his team were exceptionally considerate in their work. At the end of each day they cleaned and cleared the work area as much as possible to make it usable. The work itself was of the highest quality and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others.
